GP Practices, have enabled patients to access an online service via the NHS App or Patient Access to order repeat prescriptions, book appointments and access a summary of their health record.
This is also the only way to access your NHS Covid Pass. Please not we do not offer online consultation booking on this service, this must be done using our e-consult service.
Being able to see your record online might help you to manage your medical conditions, it also means that you can even access it from anywhere in the world should you require medical treatment on holiday.
If you decide not to join or wish to withdraw, this is your choice and practice staff will continue to treat you in the same way as before; this decision will not affect the quality of your care.
To use Online Access you can request login details by a member of the Patient Services Team, so you will need to think of a password which is unique to you; this will ensure that only you are able to access your record.
We request that all patients bring a form of ID to the practice or send it via email so we can confirm your Identity to set up this service.
Please ask a member of Patient Services Team for details on how to sign up.
Non-urgent advice: Please Note
It will be your responsibility to keep your login details and password safe and secure. If you know or suspect that your record has been accessed by someone that you have not agreed should see it, then you should change your password immediately.
Young People – Aged 12 and Over
Online access for your child is automatically turned off from aged 12 and over.
If you still require access to your child’s records, you will need to arrange a GP appointment for your child to give consent as they will be considered older enough to have capacity.
